Drive implementation of our European communications strategy with significant focus on the German market, as well as consumer and lifestyle media
Proactively develop ideas and opportunities for creative storytelling and support the press office team with incoming media inquiries
Establish and nurture relationships with relevant media outlets and journalists
Collaborate with the wider Marketing/Communications team to identify trends and possible proactive pitches and predict reactive statements as needed
Coordinate organization and updating of press materials, statements/FAQs etc to team and spokespeople, as well support with development of messaging
Support event planning and execution in Germany
Help to maintain our communications calendar and proactively identify relevant events and moments in time we can drive proactive storytelling around
Drive reporting and measurement for PR activities, including tracking media opportunities and compiling internal reports that showcase our communications work
Your Professional Profile
3-5 years of proven professional experience in communications and media relations
Excellent writing, organizational and communications skills
Prior experience in creative storytelling, media relations and development/implementation of integrated communication campaigns
Self-starter with solid understanding of the media landscape and what makes a good story
Strong understanding of marketing and communications strategies and channels
Experience in consumer and lifestyle driven campaigning is a plus
Prior experience in journalism or PR agency / in-house communications experience is a plus
Official working language is Native / professional proficiency of German is required
